SAFE PET PROGRAM

The Naperville Area Humane Society offers a number of programs that help to differentiate us from many other animal sheltering and rescue organizations. One of those programs is our Safe Pet program.

Established in 1999, the Safe Pet program assists families in crisis, such as domestic violence, by offering space in our shelter to care for the family cats or dogs on a temporary basis. Through our Safe Pet program, pets are granted a temporary safe haven and families can begin putting the pieces of their lives back together.

We are limited on the number of Safe Pets we can help at one time, but we will do our best to accommodate all requests. If you have questions about the Safe Pets program, or if you need Safe Pet assistance, please email admin@naperhumane.org
