Hope

Hi there, I’m Hope!

While my early life was filled with challenges, I’m now thriving and living my best life—and I’d love to share it with you! In August 2024, I was found abandoned and injured and then brought to NAHS. Despite my injuries, I’ve always been determined to be friendly and greet everyone I meet with a wag of my tail and scooting around to say “Hi!”

I have since had surgery and even an amputation of my back left leg to correct my injuries, but I’ve embraced my new life as part of the “tri-pawd” squad. Don’t let that fool you—I’m still a bundle of joy, full of energy and love!

I have a proclivity for snuggling up under a blanket with my favorite humans and prefer to be bundled up in a blanket on the couch for a snooze more than anything. I also adapt very well to everyone’s schedules!

Though I’m still working on my energy with three fast legs, I think I’d do best in a home with older children. What I can promise is that I’m affectionate, loyal, and always excited to see my favorite humans.

If you think we could be a perfect match, I’d love for you to come meet me. I’m "Hope-ing" to find my forever home with you where I can give and receive endless love!

*I’m in a foster home, but am still very available for adoption! If you would like to meet me, please call 630-420-8989 to schedule an appointment.
