K9 Manners

The K9 Manners program allows kids to work with the shelter dogs in each class, and learn positive reinforcement training techniques. The training the dogs receive will be in line with the requirements of the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification. At the conclusion of each session, the children will have a strong sense of accomplishment knowing that they helped their dog-partner get one step closer toward achieving his or her CGC certificate.

Information:

• Designed for children ages 11-14
• Classes meet on Thursdays at NAHS from 4:00pm-4:45pm for five weeks
  • Two sessions available: Fall and Spring
• $50 per student - Please note, there is a 3% transaction fee for online registrations and a $10 cancellation fee.

Sessions for 2018-2019 School Year:

• Spring 2019 Session: May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
• Fall 2019 Session: Aug. 22, 29 / Sept. 5, 12, 19
