Canine Masters Class

The Canine Masters program allows kids ages 13 to 16 to work with the shelter dogs in each class and learn about animal behavior and advanced training techniques using positive reinforcement. Students will train adoptable dogs for a variety of different activities such as rally obedience, agility trials, and nose-work.

Students will feel accomplished by enriching a shelter animal’s life through targeted training as well as human-animal bonding. Children will be able to utilize the skills they develop with any animal they work with in the future.
